Welcome to the home of Old Parmiterians Football Club a Charter Standard Adult Club. The club was founded in 1898 and is a member of the Amateur Football Combination League (AFC), Essex Veterans League and affiliated to The Amateur Football Alliance and the Essex FA. Select About Us to read more about the club. The club is based in Walthamstow and runs 10 senior league sides and two Veterans teams on a Saturday afternoon for over 35s. We also have an over 45s Vets side on a Sunday. We are also linked to two schools, Trinity Catholic High School and Rushcroft School where we provide football for the current students and leavers to ensure a smooth transition into adult football.

The Club has recently had its Charter Standard Status renewed by the FA. This is a statement from the Football Association to say that the club is well organised and is set up to accommodate young players wishing to play in Senior football. We have set new polices as a result. We are also getting many of our managers and players qualified through coaching and first aid courses and training is managed by level 1, 2 and 3 coaches to help develop the tactics and skills among the younger and even older players.

The Club is always looking for new players of a good standard in ability, sportsmanship and behaviour. We are also looking to forge new links with youth clubs, schools, and Sunday teams to provide Saturday football for players over the age of 16 up to Vets football for the over 35s. If you want to play for the club, the email link for contacting the Secretary is below.

There is also a sister Old Boys Club of the same name based at Parmiters School in Garston which plays in the Herts County Senior League. This club is made up from leavers from the school. You can find out further information about the club by going to their website at Old Parmiterians FC (Garston)

OPFC is a member of the Amateur Football Combination League, which provides well organised football for players of all abilities across London. This is the largest league in Europe with around 100 clubs and 340 teams. Thei league is regionalised up to 1st team level which cuts down the amount of travelling for most teams and makes it easier players to play their football locally without having to travel long distances for away games. The AFC has initiated a campaign called the Spirit of Football which is aimed to promote good sportsmanship and fair play and a respect for opponents and referees. The campaign will also focus on reducing violence, abuse and cheating which is unfortunately too prevalent today. The club supports this campaign 100% and expects its members to do the same. The FA have launched a similar scheme called Respect which we also support.
